College
Growing up, Bijan’s favorite player was Reggie Bush. He looked up to Bush so much that when the No. 5 was available at the University of Texas, he claimed it to wear the same number as his childhood football hero. Bijan had a record-breaking three years at Texas and won the 2022 Doak Walker Award, solidifying him as the best running back in college football that year.
Bijan announced in December of 2022 that he will be entering the 2023 NFL draft.
High school
Bijan Robinson started playing football at only 5-or 6-years old and never looked back. In high school, Bijan played as running back at Salpointe Catholic High School in Tucson, AZ. He became Arizona’s all-time leading rusher (7,036 yards) and touchdown leader (114), the latter which still stands today. He also won Arizona’s Gatorade Player of the Year for football.
According to his family, Bijan had a special skill on the high school football field that set him apart from his peers. He had vision – Bijan could see the play and where it was going before it happened. This high school dominance rewarded Bijan, a five-star recruit, with a spot on the football team at the University of Texas. The new longhorn was not done breaking records yet.
