Running Back Bijan Robinson Donates $300,000 to Mobile Loaves & Fishes Community First! Village

Austin, TX – Former Texas Longhorn Bijan Robinson is giving back to his collegiate community in a big way. The young NFL running back donated $300,000 to Mobile Loaves & Fishes Community First! Village in Austin, Texas.

Community First! Village is a master planned neighborhood that provides affordable, permanent housing and a supportive community for men and women who are coming out of chronic homelessness. It occupies 51 acres (about twice the area of Chicago's Millennium Park) and is home to over 370 formerly homeless neighbors.

Robinson’s major donation of $300,000 will sponsor these neighbors for one year.

Robinson, who is in his second season with the Atlanta Falcons, regularly gives back through his Bijan Robinson Foundation. He started the foundation last year to make a difference in three key areas: Faith, Homelessness and Youth.

“I was really inspired by the Village’s mission to love and serve our neighbors,” said Robinson. “Through this donation, I hope to continue to empower others to pursue a lifestyle of service and reduce homelessness.”

On Friday, April 19, Robinson met with the Village’s staff and residents and presented a check for $300,000.

“This is not just going to put roofs over people’s heads. Bijan’s [Robinson’s] donation is letting our neighbors be whole again.”
